OPTOMETRISTS Dr. Leslie Hellebush

Dr. Hellebush is a native of Garrison, North Dakota and is a graduate of Jamestown College. She graduated with distinction from Pacific University College of Optometry in 2013. Dr. Hellebush practiced in Rugby, North Dakota prior to joining Schindler & Deis Optometry in 2015. Dr. Hellebush practices general optometry with special interests in ocular disease and children’s vision. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the North Dakota Optometric Association. She is involved in organized optometry and a Past President of the North Dakota Optometric Association.

In her free time, Dr. Hellebush enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. She and her husband, Benjamin, are proud parents to two boys, Jack and John. You can usually spot the four of them on the trails of Bismarck-Mandan with their wirehaired pointing griffon, Maggie.
